When Squiz's next generation Content Management System, MySource Matrix, was released mid 2004, Squiz continued to support MySource Classic. During this time, the majority of our clients have upgraded to MySource Matrix.
MySource Classic is compatible with PHP4, and PHP have announced that they will stop supporting PHP 4 in August 2008. The changes required to make a product compatible with PHP5.1 are extensive. There will therefore be no more development of MySource Classic, and if you are looking for an enterprise class content management system, we suggest you consider our next generation open source content management system, MySource Matrix. For current users of MySource Classic, we will continue to provide read access to our forums and user manuals, but there will be no further releases of the software. |
