This documentation is up-to-date for latest version of MySource Classic.
There may be some differentiation with more recent versions of the software.

What is MySource Classic?

MySource Classic is a powerful, open source website and intranet content publishing and management system.  It is designed to enable technically unskilled users to build and maintain their own web solutions such as websites, extranets and intranets securely, professionally and inexpensively.

MySource Classic is intended to be simple and intuitive to use however it’s a powerful tool and there is potentially a lot to learn.

The only elements of MySource Classic that require more skills than those needed to operate a word processor and a web browser are for its initial installation and the creation of new website designs (which require standard website design skills) and some of the more advanced templates, eg, custom form.  Any areas that require more than basic web ability are marked with the level of skills required and what skills they are.

This manual mimics the structure of MySource Classic.  A screenshot which has a red line across it indicates that not the entire screen shot has been included.

NOTE: This manual is for end user training/support purposes only.  For assistance with any installation and server specifications please visit the online community forums.
